Cynthia Michonski is a big fan of Disney World. How big? Let's just say that if she wasn't working at BankFive, she'd probably have a job surrounded by Mickey and friends.
The Financial Reporting Analyst says her love for BankFive goes way back. "I opened my first savings account when I was 5 years old and have continued banking here for 30 years," she notes. "I was happy to be hired as a teller when I was a senior at B.M.C. Durfee High School, and loved working at the North branch. After working at the main office for a few years, I decided to move to Florida to pursue a career and educational opportunities working for the Walt Disney Company. Leaving the bank was a tough decision, which is why I'm so happy to be back after all this time. It feels like I never left. I feel so blessed to work with such a wonderful team!"
A resident of Fall River, Cynthia has seven years of banking experience and nine years of experience in finance. She has a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, and an associate's degree in elementary education from Bristol Community College. She has also taken courses at the New England College of Finance.
Her activities outside of the bank include volunteering with the Fall River Overflow Shelter and participating in the Golden Key International Honor Society. She also enjoys cooking, trying new and different cuisines, and traveling, especially if it's anywhere tropical!
