Jennifer joins BankFive’s Business Banking Group after more than a decade in leadership roles at Citizens Bank. Her most recent position was serving in a similar role as SVP, Director of Business Banking New England North. In carrying out those responsibilities she has gained an outstanding reputation within the banking industry as an innovative and empathetic leader with a focus on mentoring, coaching, and team development.
These are vital skills in serving the needs of the small business market in today’s environment. Jennifer will join a team committed to providing small business founders and managers with a helping hand when they need it most. Many of these individuals, vital to our local economies, feel abandoned by their banks while facing the extraordinary challenges presented by the pandemic and the new PPP process.
The BankFive Business Banking Group is chartered with providing the accessibility and services expected of a committed community bank. It is comprised of Small Business Specialists and Business Development Officers. These focused professionals are tasked with meeting our goals in customer relationship growth, the achievement of deposit and loan sales goals, and the identification of cross-selling opportunities and referrals.
In her new role, Jennifer will lead this new business line, including management and recruiting, sales performance, new customer acquisition, and development of our cash management offerings. We are thrilled to have Jennifer join the BankFive family as we deepen our capabilities in this area. We know our team and our customers will benefit from her deep experience in these areas.
President & CEO of BankFive, Anne Tangen, offered a warm welcome to Jennifer on her joining the company: “Our commitment to our customers requires us to identify and recruit the finest talent in our market. We are proud of our ability to attract and retain leaders who have extensive knowledge of our specific banking specialties. We also welcome members into our culture that is committed to championing the customer and providing the assistance they need and appreciate.”
