President & CEO of BankFive, Anne Tangen, offered Nancy a warm welcome to the company: “We look for leaders who can champion the customer, lead by example, and who have extensive knowledge of banking. Nancy embodies all of these things and more, and we couldn't be more thrilled to welcome her as the new branch manager of Bank Five Bristol.”
Prior to joining BankFive, Nancy served in several financial management positions, giving her insight into different areas of banking. She has held leadership positions that include the following titles: Assistant Manager, Small Business Specialist, and Sr. Specialist Relationship Banker. Nancy received her Series 6-63 and RI/MA Life Insurance Producers Licenses from Kaplan University. She has enjoyed connecting clients with mutual funds and insurance products that help them grow and protect their wealth.
Born and raised in Bristol, Nancy can’t wait to serve the community to which she has deep ties. “I am often stopped in the market or CVS asking where I am working. They beg me to come back to town, and I always say I’ll be home soon,” she says. Now, Nancy will have a chance to keep that promise and fulfill a role that gives her a way to influence the customer experience in a profound way. “The customer — both internal and external — is the most important thing in my world. I always look to exceed expectations and in return ask that they share their positive experience with their friends and family,” she added. To her, a satisfied client who refers family and friends to BankFive is the biggest compliment imaginable.
Nancy says that she looks forward to this new chapter and feels honored to join BankFive. She feels overwhelmed by the outpouring of friendliness and the welcoming environment at the branch. Starting a new position is difficult but she feels up to the task thanks to her expansive history in banking and the helpful team members in Bristol.
