Please note that there are alternative versions of this scam as well. Scammers may send variations claiming to be from large well-known companies such as Apple, Facebook, or Google. We urge all of our customers to stay vigilant for these types of phishing emails, text messages and phone calls. - BankFive will never initiate a phone call, email, or text message to you asking for your account information, sensitive personal information, or passwords.
- You can’t always believe caller ID or the “sender” name in an email. Scammers have been known to mask their phone numbers and email sender information to make it look like the communication is coming from a legitimate company.
