BankFive, a community bank with locations in Massachusetts and Rhode Island, today announced several significant promotions.
The news comes on the heels of last week’s announcement that the community bank saw a historic year for growth. The majority of the promotions to these senior leadership positions were earned by women.

The following employees have been promoted to First Vice President.
Andrea Rodrigues, Dartmouth, MA, First Vice President, Marketing & Community Relations, joined the bank in 2009 and has held several positions within the Marketing Department throughout her twelve years. With 16 years of professional experience under her belt, 14 have been spent within the banking industry. Andrea’s current responsibilities include marketing, communications and events. On top of her day-to-day activities, Andrea also serves as the Chair of the bank’s Charitable Giving Committee and dedicates her time volunteering at several non-profit organizations. She holds the position of Corporator of the Southcoast Community Foundation and is a member of their Grants Distribution Committee. Recently, Andrea was the recipient of the John S. Brayton Award for Outstanding Community Service from One Southcoast Chamber of Commerce.
Deirdre Jannerelli, Rumford, RI, First Vice President, Digital Marketing Manager, joined the bank in 2016. Prior to Deirdre’s joining BankFive, she worked as an Account Director for a Marketing Group in Rhode Island. Deirdre is now responsible for much of the bank’s Digital Marketing initiatives and strategies, including paid search, display, social media advertising, search engine optimization, email marketing and online brand reputation management. In addition to her responsibilities at the bank, Deirdre is an active member in the community and volunteers at the United Way of Greater New Bedford’s Mobile Markets. She is also a Mentor with Entrepreneurship for All (EforAll) Southcoast. Deirdre was a graduate of Leadership SouthCoast in 2019.
