Sharon Macinnes will be the first to admit that she has a strong affection for animals. In fact, if she wasn't working in banking, you'd probably find her at an animal shelter or zoo.
But Sharon has had quite a career so far at BankFive, where in the past 15 years she has worked her way up from Teller, to Assistant Branch Manager, to her current position as a Banking Officer/CRA Officer, Risk Management Specialist. This latest position calls for her to assist with implementing and monitoring policies and procedures to comply with new and existing federal and state banking regulations.
Working out of the Fall River office, Sharon finds time to volunteer with Coastline Elderly Services, which provides programs, services, and information to older adults and individuals with disabilities to help them remain at home and independent. She also helps out from time to time at the Salvation Army and United Way of Greater Fall River.
Among her favorite pastimes are cooking, biking, hiking, and spending time at the beach. And don't get her started about her travels to Bruges, Belgium, where "the medieval buildings, cobblestone streets, and canals leave you feeling like you are part of a fairytale."
